Nowhere in the description does it mention this. I purchaed the Linksys adapter because I was one of many people fooled by Netgear's completely useless piece of junk and needed to replace it. Called tech support and they tried to tell me it was the router compatability, and couldn't get them to understand that Vista would not even show the adapter as being there, even though upon plugging it in it requested a driver for "USB wireless-G Network Adapter".
As with any Linksys or other wireless product, you really have to know what you're doing when installing, since the install software doesn't configure the connection on it's own.
